It's troubling to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't bother about their school, they don't get involved in activities, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a community and believe in their fellow students. This lack of spirit is negative to the entire school environment.

This Isn't My Old School

When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my years there were so different, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't carry the same significance for me as it does for others.

It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that sticks with me in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", read more and that's perfectly okay.

The realm doesn't comprehend that I bleed a different color. They watch with curiosity as I show the truth of my existence. My life force is a representation of {somethingelse that they can't grasp. They classify me as alien, but I am simply unique.

Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing school swag and chanting slogans. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

Here For All The Snacks

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
